I feel like I owe a couple of weekends, sweeping floors and taking out trash, to Hobson's for their outstanding commitment to me, the customer.This could be you! Don't take your vehicle ANYWHERE but Hobson's Auto Repair. I was shocked.To say I'm grateful for their profoundly rare honesty and professionalism would be quite an understatement. Chris assured me that they could get the needed parts (a simple cabin filter and cabin filter cover) and have it fixed before the day was over. He knew that I was ready to shell out over 500 dollars on this day.But! Honest as the day is long, Hobson's Auto Repair found that there WAS no leak in the condenser. He knew that I knew that the condenser was leaking and how much it should cost, and therefore how much I was willing to pay for repair. But something told me to trust the process, and I'm so very glad that I did.Chris called me back after diagnosing the issue. See, I had already had the problem diagnosed, so I wasn't too keen on paying for it again. My penny-pinching brain screamed, "HERE WE GO!" as I impulsively thought I've found another mechanic who's trying to run unnecessary tests in order to make more money. called me within 2 hours and let me know what diagnostic tests they were going to run, and the cost. there for about 5 minutes or less.Chris B. A busy shop is a great sign, so I already felt comfortable.The office staff was pleasant and I received service with a smile, promptly and efficiently. Highly recommend this business and will 100% be using them in the future. Just an outstanding experience all around great people who actually treat your vehicle like their own.
Later on while working on it, the pump turned out to be bad after all!! So they added the price of the part on to my bill, but not the hours of labor. So the original quote they gave me did not include the pump. this place, they said it was on them! I mentioned to them that the power steering pump might be bad, but during their inspection it seemed okay. Most businesses would take advantage of that and charge me even more. They mentioned to me while working on it other small parts broke due to them just being old and worn out. I have an older truck so it’s more of a pain to work on. The AC worked better than it has in years and actually had me shivering in my truck. Picked up the truck and the steering felt practically brand new. Services were done within the timeframe they gave me. Brought my old work truck in for a new Air Conditioning and Power Steering system. Outstanding customer service and great prices.
